As a long-time fan of the Bachelor (and previous recapper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Hannah Brown’s season. So here it is: the Rose Recap of Season 15 episode 10.

Before this season of The Bachelorette, I recapped season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, and Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor. Up to this point, I've avoided recapping Fantasy Suites, but that stops now. I mean, do you really expect me to miss the opportunity to talk about the windmill? That being said, to any of my family members, while I appreciate your support when it comes to this blog, maybe skip this one and check back with me next week.

Hannah's Fantasy Suites take place in Greece, and I will do my best to limit the Mamma Mia! references.

Peter gets the first date, a boat ride, and Hannah says that they had a slower start than her relationships with the other boys, and I wonder if it has anything to do with the girlfriend that Peter broke up with to be on the show.

Up to this point, Peter has been my number one and I think it's because he's really good with words of affirmation, he hasn't told Hannah that he loves her, but he almost constantly expresses specific things he likes about her.

During the night portion of the date, Peter tells Hannah that he's in love with her, which is a big step since to my knowledge, he hadn't even told Hannah that he was falling in love with her. Hannah gives him the Fantasy Suite card, and they go to THE windmill.

well it is now

Tyler gets the next date and production seems to just be repeating date ideas, since this date takes place at a spa. I've already said: once you see one spa date, you've seen them all, and that stands true with this episode.

During the night portion of the date, Tyler wears the salmon jacket and Hannah says that she knows she has the physical connection with Tyler, but she doesn't know if they have an emotional connection so she doesn’t want to have sex in the Fantasy Suite.

The way Tyler handles himself is really mature, and he doesn't try to pressure her or manipulate her into changing her mind. And while I understand that treating someone with respect is the bare minimum, on this show it seems remarkable.

Hannah still gives him a card to go to the Fantasy Suites, and this time, it's on a boat. Hannah cries when Tyler leaves in the morning and says that she's never been with a man who's more respectful. ever. Maybe I’m reading her wrong, but I don’t think that Hannah was going to choose Tyler but now she realizes how good he would be for her.

Jed gets the next date and I'm reminded that only liking one boy on this show is hard because I just hate-watch an hour and a half.

Hannah and Jed go to what I can only describe as a Greek barbecue. There's music, grilling, and a lot of family. A couple of family members stir the pot and ask pointed questions about Hannah and Jed's relationship, including if she was ready to be engaged and how would she know when she was ready.

Jed pulls Hannah aside and talks about how frustrated he is with her relationship with Luke, and this conversation carries over to the night portion of the date. It's not exactly a good look to be bringing up the other guys this late in the season and as soon as anyone says something about Luke Hannah gets defensive. Surprisingly, disappointingly, she takes Jed to the fantasy suite.

Luke gets the last date, which historically means this is the boy the lead likes the most.

They go to Santarini, which is the part of Greece that looks like the postcards. Hannah says that Luke is still the best kisser and I'll skip the rest of their date because it was pretty mundane and I know everyone cares more about the night portion of this date anyways.

Luke says to Hannah, "let's talk about sex," and then says that it should only exist within the confines of marriage, and that if she's had sex with any of the other guys, he'll leave. Well Luke, bye. Luke's tone is condescending and judgmental, which is what I think Hannah takes an issue with.

I try not to get into too much of my personal beliefs on this blog, since it's a recap of a reality show; it's not that deep. But this is something that I think we need to unpack together. Luke has the right to have this opinion on premarital sex, just as much as Hannah has the right to have her opinion on premarital sex.

Hannah sums it up when she says that sex outside of marriage might be a sin but so is pride, and that’s something Luke struggles with. Plus Luke knew that this was a possibility when he signed up for the show, and Hannah's right: he isn't her husband, she's not even in a monogamous relationship with him, he doesn't get to tell her what she can do.

Hannah decides to send his sorry self back to Georgia. And since Luke acts like a child and refuses to leave, Hannah says that she has had sex (in a windmill. twice) and that Jesus still loves her.

Luke asks to pray for Hannah before he leaves and she tells him absolutely not. But fear not, Luke comes back in the preview for next week.
