As a long-time fan of the Bachelor (and previous recapper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Hannah Brown’s season. So here it is: the Rose Recap of Season 15 episode 7.

The episode starts out with all 7 boys roaming the streets of the Netherlands, where they meet Hannah and she quickly steals Jed away for a One-On-One. Which leads one of the boys to say, "he didn't bring his guitar, did he?"

Thankfully Jed is guitar free as he and Hannah walk around Amsterdam and pop into random shops along the way. They stop at an outdoor cafe and talk to an older couple who says they've been married for decades but only dated for 10 days. Is this foreshadowing for Jed and Hannah? I have no clue, but hopefully not.

Since this episode has to accommodate four dates, a lot that happens has to be cut out in order to conserve time, so the conversation between Hannah and Jed is hardly shown, except for when Hannah says that she's falling on love with Jed and gives him the rose.

All I really have to say about that is that Ben Higgins was the first person to say "I love you" to two contestants and he was ridiculed for it, and just about every person after him has said it with no consequences.

The second One-On-One: "Tyler, will you ride into the sunset with me?"

This date seems to be a little more like an episode of Fear Factor. Tyler is apparently terrified of horses, and the ones they use on the date don't seem to be particularly well trained. Later on Tyler says that pickled herring is his worst nightmare, so you can guess what they have as a snack.

Afterwards, Tyler tells Hannah that things are bad in the house and he's sorry for how that's affected her relationships. Hannah proceeds to ask 78,400,352 questions, and it seems a little like either a therapy or a gossip session.

Hannah eventually gets some answers from Tyler. He says that his greatest fear is having a failed marriage, especially since he watched his parents relationship fall apart after the 2008 market crash. Hannah gives Tyler the rose and Tyler says he's falling in love with her.

all I'm saying is that i respect the HECK out of tyler

Back at the house, the boys find out that Mike has the last one-on-one and Connor cannot believe it. He goes to Hannah's hotel room and says that he's falling in love with her.

Connor had a one-on-one pretty early on and Hannah was sick, so they couldn't even do a fun date activity, and his connection with Hannah has been pretty nonexistent since then. I have Connor placed to go third on my bracket, and even I forget about him. Hannah says thanks, but she has stronger connections with the other guys, and sends Connor home.

The last One-on-One: "Mike, I'm drawn to you."

The date starts with Hannah and Mike riding bicycles, or as Hannah says "bike with Mike." They end up at some sort of art warehouse where they meet an artist and she has them draw each other. Honestly, their drawing are so bad but not as bad as this date was. I mean, they're in Amsterdam, home of van Gogh and the van Gogh museum, and the theme of this date is art and yet?? No mention of Vincent.

While the artist draws Hannah and Mike, I notice that Mike is serious and doesn't take this relationship deal lightly, which I respect, but don't think he's right for Hannah. I think she sense it too, and during the night portion she sends Mike home.

I have not always been a fan of Mike, since he was suuuch an instigator with Luke, but he handles his exit with grace and class and I wouldn't be surprised if he was the next Bachelor.

The Three-on-One: Peter, Garret, and Luke

The boys talk about staying in their own lanes constantly, and yet they still don't understand how to do it; Luke and Garrett use their time with Hannah to talk about each other; this date seems to be created just so the boys can gossip because there isn't any sort of activity, besides throwing bologna at each other.

Halfway through the date, Peter goes to talk to Hannah and I had honestly forgot that he was there, which is saying something because he's one of the two boys left that I actually like. Hannah gives Peter the rose and lets him leave before the night portion.

I wish I could go into any sort of detail about the night portion of the date, but I couldn't force myself to care. And at some point, Luke tells Hannah the story of how God came to him in the shower, Garrett says "I love you," and Hannah gives Luke the rose, and sends home Garrett.

This episode destroyed my Bachelor Bracket, since I lost my #2 (Garrett) and my #3 (Connor), tune in next week to see if I can lose my #1 (Jed)!
