As a long-time fan of the Bachelor (and previous recapper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Hannah Brown’s season. So here it is: the Rose Recap of Season 15 episode 11.

The episode starts with Chris Harrison reminding everyone that it's a "live show" which just means that there is a studio audience to watch the episode and that Hannah and the boys will come out and talk about it.

We go back to Greece to pick up where last week's episode let us and unpopular opinion: despite Jed’s cheating allegation Hannah’s top 3 is the strongest top 3 I’ve seen.

At the rose ceremony, roses go to:

  • Jed

  • Tyler

Peter gets sent home and Hannah sobs and Peter is soft spoken and stoic, but as soon as he hugs Hannah goodbye, he starts to weep. Peter isn't off of our screens for long since the show immediately cuts to the live portion of the evening.

Hannah comes out to speak to a devastated Peter and listen, I know The Bachelorette has been using the same stylist for years but…he needs to go. Even though this is one of Hannah's better looks this season it still distracts me from most of her conversation with Peter except for when he asks what we’re all wondering: why does Hannah keep referring to them having a slow start? Hannah blushes and says “well, we were always passionate” but their slow start had to do with Peter not telling her how he felt. I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: Hannah's love language is words of affirmation.

While Peter had every right to ask Hannah “if you weren't in love with me, why did you make love with me?” like Nick Viall did at Andi's After the Final Rose, especially since she spent last week broadcasting their windmill shenanigans. Chris Harrison is the one who brings up the windmill and Hannah confesses that it was not twice, but FOUR times.

After the Peter shenanigans, the show goes back to Greece where Hannah introduces Tyler to her family.

Hannah’s family adores Tyler and I’m so sad because if I've learned one thing from this show it's if the family clearly favors one boy, the lead always chooses the other. The icing on the cake is that Hannah tells her mom that she could see herself getting engaged to Tyler and then tells Tyler that she’s in love with him.

Jed goes to meet Hannah's parents. Even though he brings them a larger bouquet than Tyler did, Hannah's parents are not impressed by Jed. I think it might be related to Jed tells the Browns that Hannah is beautiful while Tyler tells them that they should be proud of their daughter. In the end, what Hannah’s parents say about Jed parallels with what Jed’s parents say: he cannot support her.

On Hannah and Tyler's last date before a possible engagement, Hannah makes Tyler ride horse with her. Even though 1) they’ve already done this and 2) he doesn’t like horses 3) they were off the grid so neither one of them had heard Old Town Road.

From there, they have a night portion that is casual, just hanging out at Tyler’s apartment/hotel/Airbnb. Tyler talks about how much he sees Hannah in his future and that she I the most important thing in his life. Hannah looooves this, and asks him if there’s anything upstairs. As in, a bed. And there is. Not sure if they turned it into a ~fantasy suite~ but Hannah will probably tell us during the next episode.

Hannah and Jed go on a boat ride and there are rocky waters and I am taking the high road by not treating that as the metaphor that it is. Hannah starts to feel really sick and the day portion of the date ends.

(i know this is from when jed met her parents but i couldn't find any gifs/pictures from their date)

Hannah shows up at Jed’s place and I know so much of this show and my perception of it is due to editing, but when Hannah is with Jed she talks about how she’s so stressed about being in love with two people. And she doesn’t seem to talk about it nearly as much when she’s with Tyler.

Chris Harrison said that this will be the most dramatic finale yet, come back here tomorrow to see if I agree.
