As a long-time fan of The Bachelorette (and previous recaper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Tayshia Adam's season. So here it is: my Rose Recap of Season 16 Episode 8.
This episode starts with my first (and maybe favorite) Bachelorette, Jojo Fletcher, replacing Chris Harrison as host for this week. This is wild because I’ve always felt like Wells has been groomed to be the replacement host but I'm just happy to have Jojo's beauty back on my screen.

"Zac, I’m looking for a man I can picture a future with."
For this date, Tayshia and Zac dress up in wedding garb to take fake wedding pictures (which I'm pretty sure they did on Nick’s season) and it's fun I guess but I do not think production gave Tayshia a say in this date; she was clearly hesitant especially because like Tayshia said, it's not like this is her first time in a wedding dress. But they go through four or five different looks and end up having a good enough time.
Zach reveals that like Tayshia, he is also a divorcee and that his early 20s were full of addiction, which lead to an arrest, his divorce, and eventually rehab. Let's collectively agree to do our best to support addicts, recovering addicts, and trauma survivors because I'd love to get to hear more stories about people becoming board members to the same rehab facility that helped them.
Tayshia gives him the rose and this is one of the most interesting relationships to me because Zac isn't necessarily the most attractive guy in the house but I think this might be who Tayshia has the biggest physical connection with. The Bachelor staff has an entire Ferris wheel constructed for the two love birds to close out the night.

This week's group date is all about creating art. Some things are done just for laughs, like painting a nude couple, and other aspects of this date feel more like group therapy, especially when the boys are asked to draw a self-portrait and most of them share something vulnerable and honest. It moves Tayshia to tears. Instead of the after-party being exclusive to the best artist of the day, Tayshia decides to let all of the boys come. Ben gets the group date rose after striping on the date (it doesn't get more vulnerable than that) and talking to Tayshia about his eating disorder.

Eazy I hope you aren’t scared of falling in love.
Tayshia and Eazy go ghost hunting. Which is a repeat of a different date from Nick's season. There’s not much more to say about this date. Eazy says that he’s falling in love and Tayshia can’t reciprocate those feelings so she sends him home. Don’t worry, if Paradise ever happens again, we’ll see him there.
Jojo comes in and asks the boys about the drama and then tells Bennet and Noah that they’re going on a two-on-one before the rose ceremony. There’s a lot of drama between the two of them but it’s boring and doesn’t even make sense. Plus it hurts my feelings because I really liked Bennett and now he's embarrassing me with how childish he's being. Tayshia should send them both home. But we'll have to wait until next week to see who wins this two-on-one.
