As long-time fan of The Bachelor (and previous recaper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Peter Weber’s season. So here it is: my Rose Recap of Season 24 Episode 11.
Let's start this recap with a disclaimer: I have some unpopular opinions. I know that they're unpopular but I'm not about to change the way I feel just to prevent Bachelor Nation from coming for me.
Hannah Ann meets Peter’s family first and they really give her the Bachelorette edit (plus she seems like she’s genuinely in love with Peter) but my 1 (one) theory is that if one girl gets along better with the family, she’s not The One.
The next day, Madison wears a black shirt and it gives me Gone Girl vibes. Like if Madison dies and it looks like its Peter’s fault maybe we should look a little bit closer. Peter's family is pretty hard on Madison and look, I’m not like anti-Madison by any means, but I’m anti-Madison and Peter being together. Because like Peter’s family, I think their lifestyles are too incompatible.
Peter’s mom says “Bring her home, bring her home to us,” about Hannah Ann and I’m pretty sure that this is the last person I thought this was about. And I know that a lot of people didn’t like that Barb said this but I agree with her and that probably makes me a bad person.
Peter and Madison get the first date and Peter says m’lady and my brother and I talk about how boring Peter is so I don’t even notice that they break up until we get the sad music and tears all around but I don’t necessarily regret missing this conversation.
I spend the rest of the episode being confused about why Peter doesn’t break up with Hannah Ann when he acted like Madison was The One for him. And actually the conversation with Hannah Ann reminds me of Jojo and Ben.
I'll be tuning in tomorrow to celebrate my first unspoiled Bachelor season and to try to figure out how this is going to end in a way where Hannah Ann didn't end up being Bachelorette.
xoxo,
Cyber Claire
