As long-time fan of The Bachelor (and previous recaper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Peter Weber’s season. So here it is: my Rose Recap of Season 24 Episode 12: The Finale.
Since he doesn't have any other options, Peter decides that Hannah Ann is The One. And for one commercial break, she stands Peter up. Hannah Ann comes back to be proposed to and even during the proposal, Peter mentions Madison, and maybe I’m too single to have an opinion on the """proper""" proposal but that kinda screams red flag to me.

Hannah Ann is really too sweet when she accepts his proposal and here’s the tea; they're a good match. But not that good of a match because there’s an hour and a half left of the episode and Chris tells us that Peter’s love story isn’t over. They have a Happy Couple Weekend and they break up and Hannah Ann gets her moment when she stands up for herself and absolutely goes off; I said it last night and I’ll say it again Bachelorette potential.

There’s not really anything noteworthy from the Hannah Ann part of the live show, except that she revealed that Peter reached out to Hannah Brown after the engagement and all I have to say to that is let's exclude HB from this narrative.
Chris Harrison shows up to Auburn to see Madison and basically tells Madison that Peter wants to be with her and I know it’s different than Arie and Lauren, but not different enough for y’all to continue to put Madison on this pedestal like you have, but maybe we could actually discuss this if Barb hadn’t made a fool of herself and rolled her eyes through all of this clip.

Madison and Peter talk things out and at this point I'm only watching to figure out if my bracket is intact because I had Madison down as the winner in September but it’s unclear to me since she didn’t technically get his last rose.
On the live show, Peter says that he’s in love with Madison and she says the same and instead of proposal we get Barbara explaining her beef with Madison and it gets ugly and I really wish that it hadn’t so we could acknowledge that Madi is not a good fit for Peter.
I’ve never really liked when they bring the Bachelorette out at the end of the finale but getting to end this episode with Clare is exactly what I needed.

Not to get to sentimental in this recap, but thank you for this season. I can’t wait for another one starting in May.
xoxo, Cyber Claire
