As long-time fan of The Bachelor (and previous recaper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Peter Weber’s season. So here it is: my Rose Recap of Season 24 Episode 7.

Even though The Bachelor was in Peru two seasons ago with Arie, we're back and boring as ever. The first fifteen minutes of the episode are filler. And the rest of the two hour episode isn't much better.

Madison, I think you’re a catch

Of course Peter and Madison go fishing for what seems like two seconds and spend the rest of the date kissing, and that's all until we get to the night portion where Madison talks about her faith and I’m thankful, thankful that Christians get a redeeming arc after Luke P. Peter is super honest about his faith in a way that's really admirable, because I think the easy thing to do is pretend like you're better than you are and that you even met Jesus in the shower, but there is something so humanizing and endearing in Peter's honesty.

Peter says that he’s falling in love with her, and gives Madison the rose.

Natasha, Vamos a Explore

Pete and Natasha walk around Lima and she seems like the best person to bring on this date, she seems like the most fun person on this show and I wish that she had gotten more screen time. Even though they have fun together, they don't really have chemistry and I'm pretty sure both Peter and Natasha agree since he grabs the rose, just to tell her that he can't give it to her and sends Natasha home.

Kelsey, Love is a wild Ride

Pete and Kelsey ride ATVs through the mountains and this seems like a fun date if you want to be with someone but also kinda don’t want to talk. That night, Kelsey talks about her family, most notable how she is in contact with her dad but her mom doesn't know. Peter gives Kelsey the rose.

Hannah Ann, Victoria, Kelley Tomorrow won't be easy

No clue what the first half of this date was because the background music sounded like a song from Zumba and trying to do the whole routine from memory was more interesting to me than this date.

After Victoria spends the whole date gaslighting Peter, and Kelley spends the whole date talking about why she's better than the other girls, Hannah Ann comes out of this date looking like the best choice that Peter could make.

Kelley meets the same fate as Natasha, the other girl this episode who was bold enough to wear all white; Peter sends Kelley home and gives roses to Hannah Ann and Victoria.

Next week is hometowns but I don't think anyone cares as much about that as they care about finding out what Peter's mom means when she says "bring her home," so send me your theories because I'm dying to know.

xoxo, Cyber Claire
