Rhode Island, Rugby, and the Right Reasons

As a long-time fan of the Bachelor (and previous recapper), I’ve taken it upon myself to recap Hannah Brown’s season. So here it is: the Rose Recap of Season 15 episode 4.
I disappeared mysteriously last week, just like Tyler G. but if anything could bring me back, it's the Luke vs Luke drama.
This week's episode starts of as many do: the boys having a quick gossip session on the couch. Chris Harrison interrupts and lets everyone know that they're leaving the mansion in sunny California and going to Newport, Rhode Island.

The First One-on-One: Jed
Jed and Hannah spend the morning exploring Boston (and some weird Halo Top product placement) then are off to practice with The Celtics. Well, practice with two of The Celtics.
Jed's pretty good at basketball, so Hannah takes a break to let Jed dunk as much as his heart desires and so she can talk about their relationship with one of the random basketball professionals. After watching a couple of basketball documentaries, I'm not sure a NBA player is who I'd take relationship advice from but I'm pretty sure Hannah and Jed are in love just because of this:

During the night portion of the date, Jed (who has successfully stolen my heart and has made me swoon) revealed that when he signed up to be on The Bachelorette, he was aware that it could be advantageous for his music career, but he's still on the show because he's falling for her. Hannah says that she appreciates his honesty. I'm not sure this would be my response if someone told me they were there for the ~wrong reasons~ Hannah doesn't share my hesitations and Jed gets the rose.
The Group Date:
Dylan
Matteo
John Paul Jones
Connor
Garrett
Dustin
Devin
Grant
Peter
Kevin
Mike
Luke S.
Luke P.
On this date, the boys play rugby. I'm not sure who was the producer that thought it was a good idea to keep a dozen boys in the same house for weeks while they’re all dating the same girl and then tell them to plan an aggressive contact sport.
Nothing noteworthy happens (even Kevin maybe, dislocating his shoulder) until: Luke P., walking red flag, body slams Luke S., who I don't know anything about except he called Hannah, "Han," (which has the exact opposite effect as Peter using Hannah's full name last week; it wasn't cute Luke).

There really isn't much more to it than that, although the show drags it out for so. long. Which only makes me more inclined to ignore most, if not all, of what's said. All I really remember was: Mike confronting Luke P. (again) and Luke clenching his fist, pretty much all the boys saying that they don't like Luke P., the dramatic revelation that Luke S. has a tequila business, not enough John Paul Jones, and Garrett being sweet and getting the group date rose which is good news for me since I put him as the winner on my Bachelorette Bracket.
The last One-on-One: Tyler C.
Hannah starts the date crying by herself about how she doesn't know what to do about Luke P. I have some advice:

Tyler shows up and discusses Hannah's emotions and is overall the right amount of sympathetic and supportive. Once Hannah calms down, they go fishing for lobsters, which probably wasn't a good idea because it leads to a direct comparison of arguably the most dramatic reality show: Deadliest Catch.
Tyler tells Hannah that he's glad he was able to be there for her on that date and he wants her at her best and worst and all the things in between. He gets the rose and they go to a Jake Owens concert, which makes two weeks in a row where I am familiar with the musical artist. # trendy # girl
The Cocktail Party:
Next is the rose ceremony cocktail party, where instead of a rose ceremony, we get more Luke(s) drama, Pilot Peter asking Hannah officially be his girlfriend, and a “To be continued.”
Just like this week’s episode, this week’s blog post is to be continued! Tune in next week to see how many Lukes get sent home.
